In this gravure work I am concerned with the organic body that flows in soft forms and contrasts with the architectural harshness. The surfaces overlap and flow into one another, just as people become part of the buildings in which they live. The intaglio, the aquatint and the drypoint allow both the two-dimensional and the linear processing. The multi-plate printing enables me to have color overlays and exciting color mixtures, which are also reflected thematically.
